I love me some Daft Punk.

Who doesn't!

Nice to see what they look like without the helmets.  Thanks for sharing!  :D

I have that album, Curtain Call. I agree; some of his rhyming is brilliant. Even though I find some of it offensive. There are a couple of tunes on the album I can't listen to.

Also liked that Sugababes video someone posted earlier!

As far as guilty pleasure--I have a Backstreet Boys cd... :P

As for Christmas songs--Winter Wonderland is a great song, and Hark! the Herald Angel Sing I believe was written by Joseph Haydn. People who don't like Christmas music are probably thinking of the shopping mall versions.

I realize posting the Eminem songs was not quite what this forum was about.  But I have to say it is really the only music I am a bit hesitant to admit I love... and that only applies to certain songs, as Eminem has several masterpieces that a proudly blast even when stopped in traffic.  :D  That being said, here are a few bubblegum hits I love that I am not ashamed of (and yes, I did buy the CDs too)...

Carly Rae Jepsen and Owl City's Good Time...

Miley Cyrus's We Can't Stop...

I own several (almost their entire discography) Twisted Sister vinyls and have alot on my computer.  I wish I was old enough to have been able to see them live.

I love Twisted Sister!!! :-D I would have picked this one as a "guilty pleasure" though. It amuses me.

Here's another guilty pleasure of mine! I just love it! This was the father-daughter dance at my wedding this past May! My dad and I did an obligatory slow dance to "My Girl" by the Temptations for probably a grand total of 20 seconds. Then we rocked out to this little gem! :-D

I love a lot of different kinds of oldies music, and as such I absolutely adore that song you posted; I have for years.  It's actually a pretty fantastic cover as far as I'm concerned.

Did you ever see them live?  I still wish I could have, but I was around 15 or so when they did their last tour ><

Yes, I love that cover! It makes me laugh! lol!!!

No, sadly, I never saw them live. I was like 8 months old when the band disbanded.  :-[ I missed all the cool bands. I really wish I would have been able to see Ronnie James Dio live! That would have been awesome! He was amazing!

Also, I heard that Twisted Sister is doing a show in 2016:

I don't have any guilty pleasure...only pleasures, full stop.  ;)

Abba?  You bet.  Pet Shop Boys?  Oh, mais oui!  But a whoooole lot of other stuff, too.
Insert pithy remark, context-free quotation, or pseudo-intellectual claptrap espousing a sweeping societal generalization here.

I am a pretty big fan of watching AMVs (anime music videos). By doing so, I find music I can tolerate because of the association. That's where the guilty pleasure comes in. I'd never be able to tolerate any music without with an AMV (or a movie I really like, etc) to associate with it because music in general normally just makes me irritable. Incidentally, anime has become something of a guilty pleasure, too, since I used to be very, very deep in that subculture. It is ostracized in the costuming/cosplay subculture, which I am equally deep into now. Two below are my favorite examples of songs I wouldn't give the time of day to without having seen them in an AMV first. Bonus points that "A Prelude to Dreams" AMV is a masterpiece of construction.

Nuf said ;)
Morality is human instinct and something that differs from person to person.  "Evil", "Good", it is all subjective, dependent upon that person's specific morality.  All human life, regardless of religion, contribution or genetic factors has equal value that is more valuable than all other  life.

I'm pretty fond of "The Sign" by Ace of Bass and "About You Now" by the Sugababes. They just make me happy, but I don't know why.
